Recipients of personal data:
Rentlio d.o.o. uses PeopleForce, an application developed by PeopleForce LTD. (“PeopleForce”), as part of our recruitment process. Acting as a data processor, PeopleForce processes personal data on our behalf and strictly based on our instructions. Rentlio and PeopleForce have signed a data processing agreement to ensure and protect your data privacy rights.
Types of data we collect:
The data we collect includes information contained in your CV, cover letter, and other documents you voluntarily provide, as well as data collected during interviews or other assessments. This may include, among other things:
- Full name
- Social media links
- Address
- Email address
- Phone number
- All information available in your resume (CV)
- IP address
- Web browser information
Purpose of processing personal data:
We collect and process your personal data solely for the purpose of conducting the recruitment process for the role you applied for. This process may include:
- Verifying the accuracy of submitted information
- Checking references
- Assessing qualifications and skills required for the position
- Communication related to the process (emails, phone calls, SMS messages)
- Completing questionnaires and tests
- Complying with legal obligations
Data security:
We have implemented all appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss. Within Rentlio, your personal data will only be accessible to authorized employees directly involved in the recruitment process. Your data will not be shared with third parties unless legally required or based on your explicit consent.
Legal basis for processing
The processing of your personal data during the recruitment process is based on the following legal grounds:
- Steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) — processing is necessary so we can conduct the recruitment process and assess your suitability for the role you applied for.
- Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — processing is necessary for our legitimate interest in selecting qualified candidates and ensuring the required competencies within the team, provided that this interest does not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) — to the extent that processing is necessary to comply with legal requirements applicable to the recruitment process.
If you are not selected for the role, we may keep your data in our candidate database to inform you about future job opportunities. For that purpose only, we request your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time without consequences, and withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Data retention period:
Your personal data will be kept only for as long as necessary to complete the recruitment process. If you are not selected, we will retain your data in our database for potential participation in future recruitment processes within our company for 24 months, unless you request earlier deletion.
Your rights:
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Restrict the processing of your data
- Transfer your data to another controller
- Object to the processing of your data
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal
